Heraldic Art Contest
On March 4, 2003, Lady Shannon Gallowglass (a designer with the SCA.org web design team) wrote to all of the kingdom virtual scribes asking for electronic renderings of their kingdom's arms.
I challenged the populace to create beautiful, original renderings of Ansteorra's arms, and offered a reward of book store gift certificates for the three best submissions (in my sole opinion).
The arms you see are the responses to that challenge. Many thanks to all who contributed. The three best submissions were from Lord Eadric Anstappa, Lady Emma de Fetherstan, and Lady Cassandra Palfrey. I started to say that they were the "winners", but that's not really true; *all* of us are winners who benefit from their talent and their industry.
